History of Karakol Pedagogical College named after. I. Biybosunova
The Karakol Pedagogical School was founded in 1930, the first enrollment of 100 students was made on September 1.
The original school was called the Przhevalsk Pedagogical School named after Bubnov, then renamed the Przhevalsk Pedagogical School named after M. Gorky. The main task of the school was to graduate teachers for primary schools. This task was brilliantly accomplished by then young teachers Kusein Karasayev, Zyyash Bektenov, A. Nogoyev, who later became the pride of Kyrgyz science. The first graduations of young teaching staff showed that the creation of the school fully justified itself. Young talented graduates, who first worked in primary school, quickly and effectively studied further and became highly qualified personnel for various sectors of the national economy. Many of them later became heads of cities and districts of the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions, scientists, engineers and military personnel. The school is proud of its graduates, who became famous people of the Kyrgyz Republic. These are: Hero of the Soviet Union Usonbekov Kalyinur Usonbekovich - lieutenant general, former Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Kyrgyz Republic, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences Dzhumagul Alyshpaevich Alyshpaev, professor Dzholdosh Zhusaevich Zhusaev, prominent Soviet party leaders Uchkempirova, Mambetova, Kalykova, T. Tamashaev, professor of philosophy Sharshenbai Shakitov, Kambarova Zinagul Orozgozhoevna - head of the culture department, director of secondary school No. 1 Zhaparov Saliya Zhapalievna, Leshcheva Tatyana Petrovna - teacher of secondary school No. 9, excellent education worker and many others.
By the beginning of 1950, the Issyk-Kul region was basically provided with teaching staff for primary schools. There was a need to create a higher educational institution in the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions. Therefore, in 1955, the pedagogical school was transferred to the city of Naryn. In 1964, by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Kirghiz SSR dated May 30, 1964 No. 228 "On the opening of a pedagogical school in the city of Przhevalsk", the school was reopened in our city. Since 1964, the school began to train personnel for primary schools and preschool institutions. The founder of the Karakol Pedagogical School was the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In 1975, in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR dated June 16, 1975 No. 334, for active participation in the development of public education and culture of the republic, the school received the honorary name of the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the information of the Issyk-Kul regional archive, from the opening to the present day the school was headed by 21 directors: Medzhitov D.N., Bekzhanov A., Dzholchiev A., Malaev D., Kurmaev., Kuzmin N.K., Nagaev., Davletov. A., Reshetnyak V., Kadyrbaev Z., Dzhumabaev D., Dehkanov A., Toktosunov Sh., Mochoev A., Tynybekov., Baygonoev. From 1964 to 1987 the director was Abakirova Banura Abakirovna. Then, since 1987, the director of the school becomes Morozov Nikolai Petrovich, who continues the good traditions established by the previous management of the school. The school successfully passes inspections and certifications of the Union and Republican levels, the inspecting specialists note the quality theoretical and practical training of pupils and students. Approximately 80% of graduates are employed in rural and urban schools of the Issyk-Kul region. A large number of graduates of the school successfully work abroad, including in the Russian Federation.
Every 5 years, the Karakol Pedagogical College named after I. Biybosunov undergoes certification and licensing for the right to train specialists with secondary vocational education. Currently, the college has been issued
License AL№479 dated 29.04. 2013.
Since 2010, the team has been headed by Salamat Usenbaevich Moldosanov, an excellent worker in education of the Kyrgyz Republic. He immediately set the team the task of strengthening and improving the material base of the school. In 2011, the strengthening of the material base of the school, which received the status of a college, continued.
With the help of the German Technical Center, the college received new textbooks in the amount of 583 copies, which it urgently needed. With the help of funding in the amount of 1 million 350 thousand soms from the German Technical Center (GIZ), the college library was reconstructed and repaired.
In the same year, the Issyk-Kul Region Development Fund financed the renovation of building 2, and a 60-bed student dormitory was created on its basis. 2 million 600 thousand soms were allocated for these purposes.
In 2012, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic allocated 1 million soms to replace the slate roof in the 1st educational building. The roof was replaced during August and September 2012.
At the expense of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, a new computer class was purchased, complete with 12 computers and computer projectors.
The college administration also allocated funds from a special account for the development of the college. 8 new sets of classroom furniture, beds for the dormitory, household appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, electric stoves, etc.) for students living in the dormitory were purchased. Another new computer class was purchased in a set of 12 computers. Computer classes and computers of the administration and accounting department of the college are connected to the Internet. 3 local computer networks have been created.
Volunteer teachers of the college actively participate in improving the quality of education of rural schoolchildren. Throughout the summer of 2013, groups of volunteer teachers, with funding from GIZ and the Kumtor company, traveled to villages in the region and conducted life skills classes with rural schoolchildren and teachers.
The strategy for developing the college's material base continued in 2013. During the year, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic allocated 450 thousand soms for the repair of the premises of the 1st academic building, which are currently being successfully developed. Major repairs were made to the premises on the 1st and 2nd floors of the 1st academic building. Also, the college dormitory restored utility rooms: toilet, washbasins, sewerage system.
The college administration is working to return the building of the 3rd block, which previously belonged to the pedagogical college.
Currently, 48 teachers work in the college. Of these, 29 are excellent educators of the Kyrgyz Republic. Many teachers of the college are veterans of labor, have high erudition and deep professional knowledge, these are Golovenina Valentina Lukyanovna, Zhorupbekova Bagymkul, Temirkanova Turumkan, Aliyeva Nuripa Imakeevna, Nikitenko Irina Vasilyevna, Tumenbaev Omurgazy, Akmatova Ainura Askerovna, Mukanova Kuluya Aalievna, Turkin Vyacheslav Vladimirovich, Golovenin Nikolay Nikolaevich, Demyanenko Irina Vladimirovna and many others.
Currently, Karakol Pedagogical College provides training in the specialty (0312) "Primary School Teacher" and is ready to resume training in the specialty 0313 "Preschool Teacher". Basic School IT Teacher (0324).
Since 2010, applicants have been recruited for the correspondence department on a contract basis (0312).
Education at the pedagogical college is conducted in Kyrgyz and Russian. Upon admission to the pedagogical college, applicants take tests in Kyrgyz (Russian) language and mathematics.
Currently, 649 students are studying at the college, 320 of whom are full-time students, 136 are part-time students, and 38 are studying (0324) computer science.
Since its foundation, the school has been located in two educational buildings located in the center of the city of Karakol.
